Captain's Message
Hello, I'm David Daniels, Captain of Seaducer. I started fishing at a very young
age. My first offshore trip was on my
|
family's boat, (the original) Seaducer. I saw the deep blue water...caught a white marlin and a sailfish....and I was hooked for life! I was fortunate to graduate from Longwood College with a BS/BA in Business Management.
As Jimmy Buffet says, "Gotta stop wishing, time to go fishing!" Soon after college, I became a professional mate for seven years. When the opportunity to run my own boat came my way, I had the experience and was more than ready. So, I purchased Fastlane from it's builder, Jake Evans. I renovated and renamed the boat to get it set for your fishing trip.

engine. It was built in 1990 with a heavy juniper frame and planking. The hull is covered with fiberglass for extra strength. This boat was built to meet the challenges of Oregon Inlet waters.
The cockpit (the back of the boat where you fish) is very large. There is plenty of room to fish. Seaducer has five seats, three of those are fighting chairs. We have two insulated fish boxes and a bait box. There are thirty-four rod holders and a custom built rocket launcher on the big chair. We fish with the largest Rupp outriggers made.

Yes sir, this boat is rigged to fish. From spinning rods to downriggers and everything in between.
The salon (cabin) is spacious and comfortable. It is trimmed out with varnished wood and carpeting. We have room for five to completely lay down. And you're going to need to rest after a hard day of fishing!
Captain Daniels has all the electronics he needs to get you to the fish and back to the dock.
